REQUIREMENTS: Create a signature interior design for the new restaurant that would have a clean modern yet warm style, reflective of Yuca’s modern interpretations of classic Latin cuisine.
DESIGN CONCEPT: Use of repetitive grid elements combined with curved ceiling forms add architectural interest. Along with the use of unusual floor materials such as stained concrete add warmth to an otherwise modern space.
CHALLENGE: Integrate all of the mechanical elements and provide lighting in an exposed concrete ceiling in order to keep from lowering ceiling heights.
