Shortly after receiving her Associates in Arts degree in Interior Design, she was named one of Design Times’ heralded ‘10 Designers to Watch’ and one of Contract Design Magazine’s “New Faces of 1998.”

Bea Pila’s unique “Miami Interior Design Style” is a constant influence, implemented in every commission: “Interior Design is a necessity, not a luxury,” is her philosophy.

Pila, also noted for her fashionable yet functional product interior designs for the home furnishings industry, won first-place awards in the annual statewide Florida interior design style competition for her inventive “Banana Leaf” vanity and an equally inspiring “Brisas” bed. Her generative concepts have led her to successful commissions to develop respectively, several custom vanities for Robern, Inc. a Kohler concern, and for Techno Art Marmi, an Italian manufacturer, and also multiple comprehensive furniture assemblages for Whitecraft Rattan, Inc.

Bea’s new “Urban Tropics” interior design showroom reflects contemporary interior design style with subtle tropical influences, familiar to Miami.

Bea Pila-Gonzalez is also the founder of Artistic Lisence, a dealer of fine furnishings with a 5,000 square foot shoowroom on the premises on B Pila Design Studio.
